John 4-6

Study Length: 6 weeks

The Gospel of John presents the Son’s signs – seven selected miracles, so you will believe Jesus is the Messiah who came to save. In chapters 4-6, John produces evidence and witnesses to authenticate Jesus’ claims. He is God, the Son of God, equal with His Father.

This 6-week study calls us to see and believe. Jesus proves His insight into our hearts and lives through the Samaritan woman at the well. We hear His teaching and witness His power to heal. We marvel at His authority over creation when He feeds more than 5,000 followers and walks on water. Jesus delights to transform the least into plenty. He is present with us through life’s storms.

What happens when Jesus’ identity is proclaimed? These chapters reveal that conflicts between faith and unbelief grow. No one remains neutral about Jesus, our Lord and Savior, equal with God the Father. Jesus says, “I am the bread of life.” To believe in Jesus is to have abundant life in His name. If you are unsure how to respond, will you ask Jesus to make the truth clear?
